Description

The Windhoff twin bank tamper is ideal for small sections of track that need tamping following various types of work where the elevation of the track has changed. It is ideal for tamping the area around completed UTX crossings, wet spot removal, drainage work, stanchion/civils works or activities where the track bed needs consolidating before giving the line back. 

The Windhoff S&C (Switch & Crossing) tampers have the ability to raise one leg so that a full switch can be tamped without damaging the switch where the rails converge.
